Pencil mechanisms for mechanical pencils and mechanical pencils

The reliable technology of our 0.3 / 0.5 / 0.7 / 0.9 / 2.0mm pencil mechanisms – Made in Japan – has been tried and tested a million times over and can be found in many mechanical pencils from well-known writing instrument brands. Based on existing functional parts, we design pencil mechanisms individually according to customer requirements, from a minimum order quantity of 1000 pieces.

This traditional propelling mechanical pencil mechanism (with
front filling) are manufactured on original machines in Japan. The mechanisms are only available for 1.15 mm refills. The shape and dimensions of the tip (cone) can be designed according to customer requirements, from a minimum quantity of 1000 pieces

Our mechanical pencil mechanisms are mainly used for sketching pencils and technical drawing pencils. These ready-to-install mechanical systems are particularly popular with wood turners for the manufacture of wooden writing instruments. We offer mechanical versions for 2mm and 5.6mm graphite leads and also supply these in small quantities from stock.

High polymer and graphite pencil leads

We supply high-quality, so-called high polymer refills from Japanese production in all common diameters (0.3 – 0.5 – 0.7 and 0.9 mm) and hardness grades, as well as graphite refills from European production (diameter 1.18 – 2.0 – 3.15 and 5.5 mm), also packaged in plastic or cardboard refill boxes on request. We also supply various types of mines in small quantities from stock.

Sleeves (ZWINGEN) made of aluminum for wooden pencils

Sleeves (ferrules) made of aluminum ensure a reliable connection between the eraser and the wooden pencil. They are also a decorative eye-catcher thanks to their color variations and different embossing and corrugations. Available in the sizes “Standard”, “Jumbo” and 3-edged. Customization is possible via printing solutions.

Eraser for wooden pencils

Erasers have always been a functional component of every wooden pencil. Thanks to the wide range of colors, the erasers are also a decorative eye-catcher. The erasers are made of PVC-free material and are available to match the sizes of the aluminum sleeves (clamps).
